ALWAYS ASK FOR HELP

The important theme dealing with our obstacles is that, what we perceive the situation to be and what the situation actually is often differs wildly. How we frame our problems makes a big difference in our ability to solve them. Instead of giving up in the face of frustration and telling ourselves “I can’t do this,” we would be much better served by reminding ourselves that when we get to this point that “I can’t do this alone.”

FORGIVE YOURSELF

Self-forgiveness is not about letting yourself off the hook nor is it a sign of weakness. Forgiveness means that you accept the behavior, you accept what has happened, and you are willing to move past it and move on with your life without ruminating over past events that cannot be changed.

WHY LETTING GO OF OUR ANGER IS SO IMPORTANT

Letting go of grudges and bitterness can make way for improved health and peace of mind.

People who forgive others (i.e. letting go of their anger and resentment) may experience fewer negative physical health symptoms, like disorders of the cardiovascular or immune system, and fewer negative mental health symptoms, like anger and depression.
